Instructions

  1. Heat skillet or wok; add oil and sauté scallions, celery, and carrots over medium heat until carrots are soft.
  2. Break up any lumps in rice and add to vegetables with tamari, peas, and shrimp. Continue to stir over medium heat until soy sauce is evenly distributed and rice and shrimp are hot.
  3. Cut Emerald Cove Organic Toasted Sushi Nori sheet into narrow strips and top for a tasty and nutritious garnish.

Nori and Spinach Salad

Instructions

  1. Blend dressing and set aside.
  2. Cut tofu into ¼” slices. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and fry tofu until golden on both sides. Drain, allow to cool, and then cut into thin strips.
  3. Bring water to a boil. Drop in washed and de-stemmed spinach leaves and boil until they just turn deep green (30 seconds to 1 minute). Remove spinach and pat dry.
  4. Crumble nori into flakes.
  5. Mix spinach with dressing and tofu strips. Sprinkle with nori and sesame seeds, tossing gently. Serve immediately.

Soba Nori Rolls

Soba Nori Rolls

Here’s a unique twist on homemade sushi ~ filled with Organic Planet Organic Soba Noodles. Get creative and add your favorite sushi fillings. Invite family and friends over to roll their own and enjoy the fun.

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles absorbing to instructions on package. Drain and spread neatly on a dry towel.
  2. Lay one quarter of the noodles side by side across one sheet of nori. Roll up nori as firmly as possible.
  3. Repeat with remaining sheets of nori and noodles. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice rolls in half, then cut each half into three equal pieces.
  4. Add a small amount of water at a time to wasabi powder until it forms a paste, and form into a ball. Place noodle rolls along with wasabi on a platter and serve with slices of sushi ginger and dipping sauce.

Miso Noodle Rolls

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to instructions on package. Drain, then spread neatly on a dry towel.
  2. Prepare the Miso Paste by mixing those ingredients together.
  3. Lay one eighth of the noodles side by side across one sheet of nori on which 1 tsp of the miso paste has been evenly spread. Roll up nori as firmly as possible. Repeat with remaining sheets of nori and noodles.
  4. Using a sharp knife dampened with water, carefully slice rolls in half, then cut each half into 3 equal pieces.
  5. Add a small amount of water at a time to wasabi, until it forms a thick paste.
  6. Place noodle rolls along with wasabi on a platter and serve with sushi ginger slices and a dipping sauce.
