  1. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Pour into an ice cream maker and run for about 20 minutes, until frozen.
  3. Serve immediately or store in the freezer.

Asian Coleslaw with Miso-Ginger Dressing

Yield 6-8 Servings

Enjoy this tasty Asian Coleslaw seasoned to perfection with a Miso-Ginger dressing made from our Miso Master Organic Sweet White Miso and convenient, ready to use Emperor's Kitchen Chopped Ginger. Yum!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the rice vinegar, miso, mayonnaise, lemon juice, ginger and sugar and process until completely smooth. With the machine on, add the oil in a slow and steady stream.
  2. Season the dressing with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup of the dressing into a large bowl and refrigerate the rest for another use.
  4. Add the green and red cabbage, carrots, radishes and scallions to the bowl and toss to coat thoroughly with the dressing.
  5. Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Note:  Use the extra dressing for tossing with rice noodle salads, serving as a dip, or spooning over fish.

  1. In a blender, combine tofu, lemon juice, mustard, miso, mirin, and honey and puree until smooth.
  2. Add the optional poppy seeds and stir to combine.

Creamy Horseradish Dressing

Yield 2 cups

Serve this Creamy Horseradish Dressing on crackers as an appetizer, or toasted French bread, or as a delicious salad dressing. 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup fresh grated horseradish root
  • ½ block tofu
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ¼ cup Miso Master Organic Sweet White Miso
  • ½ cup soy milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp prepared mustard
  • splash of hot pepper sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
