Country Vegetable Pate
Yield 2 cups
Prepare this tasty Country Vegetable Pate and serve as an appetizer, on toasted French bread or as a delicious spread for veggies.
- 3 cups chopped broccoli
- 1 cup onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp Emperor’s Kitchen Organic Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 cup roasted walnuts, almonds, or cashews
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp Miso Master Organic Mellow White Miso
- 2 tsp Emperor’s Kitchen Traditional Umeboshi Vinegar
- ¼ tsp cayenne
- Dash of fresh cracked black pepper
- Cut broccoli and its stem into small pieces and steam until soft.
- Sauté onion in oil on medium heat until caramelized.
- In a food processor, combine remaining ingredients, with nuts first.
