Stuffed Nori Cones

Stuffed Nori Cones aka Temaki “hand sushi rolls” are a super easy, quick and fun way to enjoy DIY “sushi” at home. And best of all anyone can make them! Like sushi, temaki can be a complete meal filled with your favorite protein, raw or cooked veggies, and dip it into your favorite sushi sauce.

 

  • Yield: 8 Cones 1x

Instructions

  1. Cut each nori sheet into four quarters and set aside.
  2. Place all remaining ingredients, except watercress, in a bowl and mix together well.
  3. Carefully fold one piece of nori at a time into a cone shape. A drop of water will stick overlapping sides together.
  4. Fill each cone with the mix, decorating the top with watercress, and serve.

Notes

Use your favorite fillings in place of the ingredients in this recipe: avocado, sprouts, fried tofu, tempeh, lettuce, arugula, kale, chinese cabbage, bok choy, scallions…
