A quick and easy way to use miso paste is by making your sauces! This recipe takes a new look at a delicious, spicy peanut sauce by adding Miso Master Mellow White Miso paste for a shot of savory, fermented flavor.

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons Miso Master Organic Mellow White Miso ( use Chickpea Miso for soy-free)
- 3 tablespoons Peanut Butter
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- ⅓ cup Filtered Water
- 1 tablespoon Cooking Sherry (use Mirin for a sweet-spicy flavor)
- 2 teaspoons Ginger Juice
- 1 clove Garlic (or 1/2 teaspoon Pureed Garlic)
- ¼ teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil
- ⅛ teaspoon Cayenne pepper or Red Pepper Flakes (to taste)
Instructions
- Thoroughly mix the miso paste and peanut butter together until well combined. Combine the remaining ingredients in a separate container and mix into miso/peanut butter mix incrementally until well combined.
- Place entire mixture in a sauce pan and slowly warm, stirring frequently until desired thickness is reached.
