Oolong Tea, Organic (Loose Leaf)
Oolong Tea, Organic (Loose Leaf)
Oolong tea is neither black tea nor green tea, but is a category of its own. Although made from the same plant used to make green tea and black tea, the Camellia sinensis plant, oolong is processed differently. Green tea is unoxidized or barely oxidized, black tea is fully oxidized, and traditional Oolong tea is only partially oxidized. The partial oxidation of Oolong tea is what gives this tea its unique characteristic color and taste, which can vary from green to golden to brown, and from light to robust flavor.

Prepare Hot: Bring one cup of cold water to a boil. Steep the desired amount of tea for five minutes or until the desired strength is achieved. Brew as much or as little as you like with our convenient resealable bag.
Prepare Cold*: Pour one cup of cold water over tea leaves and steep in the refrigerator overnight. Cold brewing reduces caffeine content and leaves a smooth, less bitter aftertaste.
* When prepare cold, caffeine content and bitterness are both reduced.
