Barley Miso, Organic

Miso Master Country Barley Miso is traditionally fermented in wooden barrels without the use of accelerants (artificially speeds up fermentation) or yeast (alters flavor).
Unpasteurized: Miso Master Country Barley Miso is unpasteurized as high-heat destroys beneficial bacteria.
Color & Flavor: Country Barley Miso paste is dark reddish-brown in color with a a deep, rich and slightly sweet flavor.

Country Barley Miso should be refrigerated upon receipt to maintain quality, taste, and the color of our Country Barley Miso paste. When refrigerated Country Barley Miso is good for about 18 months.
