Description

This tasty dressing is “Pretty in Pink”, and your salads will be too! Best of all it is seasoned with our Miso Master Organic Mellow White Miso.

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients except the oil in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. With blender or food processor running, slowly add the oil until well blended.

Red Pepper Vinaigrette with Miso

Enjoy this delightfully delicious vinaigrette made with roasted red peppers and seasoned with our Miso Master Organic Mellow White Miso


Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Miso Master Organic Mellow White Miso  
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup roasted red peppers
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • ½ Tbsp onion, minced
  • ½ Tbsp. soy sauce
  • ½ Tbsp. fresh basil
  • ¼ tsp oregano
  • ¼ tsp thyme
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ Cup organic olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a food processor add the first 11 ingredients and blend.
  2. With food processor running, slowly drizzle the olive oil until well blended.

Green Bean Salad with Miso-Yogurt Dressing

Description

This delicious dish makes a wonderful lunch or side salad and perhaps even wonderful picnic food.


Ingredients

Salad Ingredients:

  • 3 celery stalks, sliced very thin
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 handfuls arugula
  • 1/3 cup roasted pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup toasted sunflower seeds
  • ½ small red onion, finely sliced
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed

Instructions

  1. Steam or blanch the beans in a saucepan of simmering water until tender. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. Combine all of the salad ingredients in a large bowl and toss to combine.
  3. Add all of the dressing ingredients (garlic, miso, mirin, vinegar, cumin, & yogurt) to a small bowl or jug and whisk to combine. Season with , salt  pepper to taste.
  4.  Just before serving add the dressing to the salad, about half at first, and toss to combine. Add additional dressing until it’s dressed to your taste.

  1. In a blender, combine tofu, lemon juice, mustard, miso, mirin, and honey and puree until smooth.
  2. Add the optional poppy seeds and stir to combine.
